Bluff Beach Access
The scope of work for this project involved designing and installing beach access for a newly constructed home along the shoreline of Lake Michigan.
The brand-new home had no beach access, and the homeowners needed a solution suited to the unique bluff conditions of the property. Other companies had proposed traditional wood stairs, but they would be unfit for the clay soil and active erosion. Lakeshore Customs was contacted to provide a more durable and adaptable alternative and introduced the homeowners to the EZ Beach Steps system.
Aluminum stairs were strategically installed along the bluff, carefully placed to avoid active drainage routes that could otherwise cause erosion issues or the need for frequent adjustments.
The design ensured safe, long-lasting, and functional access to the beach while allowing for future adaptability if site conditions change.
The project incorporated the EZ Beach Steps system.
