The old failing deck needed to be torn out and rebuilt in the exact footprint.
The customer was looking for easier maintenance while also achieving long-lasting function. Aesthetics were also very important in order to stay consistent with the look and feel of the cottage.
The goal of the project was to mimic the most natural-looking approach in order to stay consistent with the cottage charm of this historic family home.
The walnut decking ties in a stained-wood look, and the white aluminum railing is designed to last a lifetime while looking like painted white railing.
We used the TimberTech Azek English Walnut Advanced PVC Decking from the Vintage Collection and the white TimberTech Azek IRX aluminum spindle baluster railing infill.
