We wanted a solution that would be very low maintenance and last for decades without failing. We needed to use an advanced framing technology that would withstand the elements and remain a strong system.
The previous stair system was old and rotting, so it needed to be replaced for the vacation rental residents to be able to get to the beach safely.
The homeowners understood that safe and reliable beach access, along with dune restoration, were essential components of their new home build.
Everything was failing, outdated, and in need of a refresh. Having an easy-to-maintain and aesthetically pleasing deck was very important to this family, as the home has been passed down from generation to generation.
The original stairs had deteriorated from high water exposure and were ready for a fresh, updated look after 30+ years.
